Can anyone tell me what would cause oil to end up on the catch hook (correct term?) near the rear sway bar? I have noticed that there isa very small amount of oil here after driving the car. It is not even dripping onto to the floor, but it continues to show up. I know the oil is not coming from any of the drain plugs and it does not appear to be coming from anywhere up top. Is this an rms failure? How concerned should I be? Thanks in advance.

 

How has your clutch felt lately? Is it engine oil or pentosin fluid? It could be your clutch slave/accumulator going bad? RMS is very rare in Turbo's model.

 

good point. not ruling out pentosin from there. my rear main seal IS leaking a bit but not enough for major concern. pisses me off but not enough yet to drop the engine.

 

I know it is not the slave as I just completed the GT2 conversion. I am also 99% sure that it is not residual from my leaking accumulator that lead to the gt2 conversion.

 

Is your leak in the same location?

 

best described as at the rms. i haven't seen residual drippage. very minor, but you know what that means.
