CD holder replacement options?

Can anyone tell me if there is either an OEM or aftermarket offering of inserts to replace the CD holder? Is there a flat plate version that could be modified to hold gauges, V1 remote display or other flush mounted options?

Also, anyone ever add one of those "homelink" universal transmitters to control garage doors? I was suprised a car this high end wouldn't have that feature. I'm tired already of digging out the opener from the console. Suggestions?

Thanks for the input.

Kasey

i just pull the cd holder and leave the space empty and put my scanner in there, but there is a porsche open shelf part that fits witha rubber liner, ask your dealer.

also, i zip tie my garage opener to the passenger sunshade.

Kasey,

Check out this post. Another member converted one of his blank switches to a garage door opener.

I changed my CD holder to an open storage shelf. You can get it from any dealer. I'm sure if you want to add gauges you could have a blank plate made and cover it in leather.
