Extended Deadline Hotel Overflow Option:
As of October 29, 2003, the Haywood Park Hotel block of rooms is fully booked for this event. In an effort to open this event to others that still have interest, I have contacted the Rennaisance Hotel in Asheville and made arrangements for 10 additional rooms to be made available to us until November 14.

After the 14th, I can't do anything else!!! Make a decision and run with it......and us!!!

The Rennaisance Hotel is located approximately 1/2 mile away from the Haywood Park Hotel.

Our group rate room cost is $126.00/night for up to four people and includes either a king or two double beds. Breakfast vouchers are an additional $12.50/pp and can be arranged during your reservations but remember, Saturday morning we are having a group breakfast at the Biltmore Estate so make your decisions wisely. Our group name is of course 6speedonline.

The obvious disadvantage is that the dinner and start of the event will be from the Haywood Park Hotel so attendees staying at the Rennaisance will need to stay in touch and above all be ON-TIME. A little more difficult but not insurmountable. I believe the Haywood Park Hotel accommodations are a little more upscale as well.

Ken, I spoke with Clara...Apparently she can't set up reservations yet until she faxes you a contract or something like that for the group reservation block???

The contract has been sent back to the Rennaisance Hotel and they should be ready to accpt reservations this afternoon. Due to contractual issues with a block of 15 rooms, we could only get a block of 10. That means these are the LAST 10!!! Act quickly!!

And don't forget to PM me with your information (See official thread for what I need).

 

I have heard from Rockitman that the additional rooms will actually be available for reservation on Monday, November 3. I am also checking into the 18 vs 21 room snafu at the original hotel.

 

The rooms at the Rennaisance Hotel are now available for reservation. We have a total of ten rooms with a deadline of November 14. I believe with Keith and Chris signed up over there, that only leaves 8 rooms available.

In addition, we may regain 3 rooms at the Haywood Park Hotel so keep an eye on the official post for more details there.

 

We have our 3 rooms back. First come first served. Call ASAP!!!!
