Congrats! I added a 996 GT3 to my 996tt and converted all my track hardcore suspension and safety goodies over to the gt3. The tt is back to DD status and works very well for that although it does have the Protomotive K24/18G power adders.

Having driven them both on the track my feeling is that the comparison is that the TT is a MACHETE whereas the GT3 is a SCALPEL. Love them both but the 3 rocks in so many more ways at the track. Not to mention it is forcing me to become a much better driver than before.

I could not get my family CFO to agree (Wife), had to let the something go since I am sitting on 5 cars as it is.... I wish I could have kept the TT. It's a great car to drive for everyday and for long trips. Every car I ever had I always regretted selling... The only way I could sell the GT3RS past the CFO was letting something else go.. After all, you can only drive one at a time right?

Congratulations to you! Those white 997.1 GT3 RS models are very hard to come by (I know since I looked for a while!). That is quite the score.

I'll be joining you in something special soon myself, and hope you're having a great time with your new car.

Yea, was pretty much set on a white one with less than 10K... I looked for over 6 months, found a few but were rode hard. When this one hit the market at Porsche Dealer, I gave deposit over phone and headed out next morning with truck and trailer. I am really happy with the purchase. The only item I am not thrilled about is the need for new tires within the next month or so. They are right at the tread indicators. May have to wait a couple of months since I used every penny I have to buy the car.. The CFO (Wife) will probably go crazy if I drop another 1.5K on some tires right now... She thinks 5 cars are not necessary....
