Strange car behavior need help

The other day driving my tt I was entering my neighborhood and decided to do a late brake and stopped very aggressively before turning in to subdivision. No lockup or skid but noticed psm/ abs light came on and stayed on. I drove to house and turned off car. A couple days later I went to drive car, no lights remained lit and car drove fine for about 5miles and boosted fine during those miles. I did however attempt to stand on it on the way back home and noticed that my boost was limited to .4 or so and was puny. I noticed that not only that but if I floored the car it would not downshift (tip) or boost over .4 or so. No lights present. Parked car and had no time to fool with it. I went to drive it again a week or so later and car cranked up but idle was a bit erratic but stayed running, as I tried to give the car some gas in park, the engine would not respond at all only idled. I do now have a check engine light (not blinking) and a message to drive to workshop. Any simple diagnostic I can do as if car won't respond to throttle input it can not be driven. This happened before and ended up being ecu was fried from a battery charger mishap. Any suggestions? I thought about unhooking battery and letting car reset itself and see what happens. I am concerned about being away from home driving and then the throttle stops responding and I am stranded needing a rollback. I have not checked codes as I do not have a code reader. I would love to borrow one and would be happy to rent it to diagnose. Please help.

Maybe the F hose popped off. Check all the hoses. Something is probably loose.

I will try to check it soon. I wonder if a hose came off of the intercooler also? Would I have heard a noticeable wooshing when it was still boosting? I did feel what felt like a stumble for a split secong but that is just before I noticed car would not downshift. Anything else to try or look at?

Defiantly check hoses. Check right off the turbo hose.

When it happened to me it was a split F hose, limited boost to 0.7 bar, I found it doing a leak pressure check. Check all the push in hose connections; the lower inter-cooler connections have popped out on my friend's car.

Big props to Blackhorse turbo and others who suggested hose. It was in fact the F hose came off of the big connection. It looked like it was on but further inspection revealed that it had popped off and was just butting up against connection and not on it tightly clamped. All is back on and tight. Should I unhook battery and let ecu reset itself or should I be good to go when I crank the car?

I am in Augusta, GA. I just cranked car and it started fine. Idled ok seemed normal with a little up and down but not stalling or needing to be kept running. The throttle is still unresponsive. Idles but no response to throttle input. Should I unhook battery, or go through several start cycles. The check engine light is staying on. So something must still not be right. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Check the bottom hose and others just to be sure. Maby more then one hose was off. All should have worked fine after you put the f hose back on. Make sure there is not another one off.

I'm glad it was a simple fix. No need to unhook the battery. Just plug and go!
