My uncle purchased a X50 awhile back with unknown mods and we would like to know if it has upgraded 18g's on it.

He will be taking off the intercooler hose on the cold side and taking a picture of the wheel.

Does anyone have pictures of the stock K24 and a 18g wheel so we can compare?

Is there certain dead give always as how many impeller fins etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HI,,I think if you go on Vivid Racing site it shows the compressor wheel,, or go to Blouch Turbo and as I am sure if you do a Search on here there is bound to be pictures..
But I do remember its a completely different looking wheel then the stock one..

I hope it is not a 18g or he is going to make me sweat!

His car pulls well for mostly stock with a unknown flash of 1-1.1!

This is why we are wondering if it has 18g's.

 

They usually start to pull very hard from 4500rpm up to 6000rpm range..

 

I got a picture off of Vivids site of how the 18g should look, but need a picture of how a stock K24 now.

His car has ALOT more noticable lag then my BILLET K16. His car lags, but when it come on around 4000rpm it pulls VERY well to redline.

Weeks not want to guess but know for sure, so if anyone has a picture of both together would help.

 

Stock impellers are uniform and closer together in spacing as compared to the 18s,Vivid picture..
