An afternoon on the Crest :)
A few of us met up on Angeles Crest Hwy today. 100+mi of windy mountain road A fun day of burning rubber . We met the guy with the GT3 about halfway through and he decided to join us.

Anyway, just a few pics:

Spirited canyon runs can be quite engaging. I live near a great one in Hwy 33. Nice photos....thanks for sharing.

was great! but man.. what a mountain whew. even picked up a spare gt3 on the way up we have to do it again. thx for the pics!

Love that drive.

Last time I ran that stretch was with a couple of bikes.

Never ran it all the way from the 210 freeway to highway 138.

you know the road.. it was grueling after awhile. it had to have been 125+ miles of tight sweepers up from 210 and down the back side. i thought i ended up in pahrump nevada. 1000 to 7900 feet

We went all the way back to La Canada; I was actually tired when I got home LOL

Came across the same cop as on the way up; just a friendly wave and he didn't bother us. Law enforcement the way we like it

Swapped cars too for part of the way back; definitely need coilovers! Stock suspension isn't horrible but spooky when you start pushing it.

dude's car was so low he has to shop around for gas station's where he can make it over the driveway LOL..

xwalkerx.. next time we're gonna hit the north county beach canyons.. i actually prefer them. nice as it is, ACH gets monotonous. ha

FI-FTW: you wouldnt happen to be in irvine would you? i spotted someone with a similar silver 996tt in my area

'02996ttx50: sounds good keep me posted and hopefully im off from work
