I'm running that size now and so are lots of other 6speeeders without issue. My next tire purchase will get the ratio closer just cause if I'm buying a 245 front is nearly the same price. Either way I'm not losing any sleep.

I run that size without spacers and had to roll the fenders, and I was rubbing the inner wheel well liner. I had to play with the alignment.

Not to revive a dead thread and all, but not once was offset mentioned. What offset are your rims that fit with 225/40 and/or 245/35? My front is 19x.8.5 ET49 and rears are 19x11 ET40. Stock suspension. I want to order 225/40 or 245/35 in the front and 305/30 for the rear, but unclear if I will need spacers anywhere since everyones offset is different.

Thanks,
Ryan
