I'm going to look at a 2001 TT with 50,000+ miles. No idea of history but I trust the dealer. Says the car has a warranty to 100,000. Opinions please!

6 speed manual

Are the miles that big a deal.

miles are not that big a deal as long as the price is right and the condition is good.

Miles aren't a big deal, but with so many cheap low-mileage TTs out there to choose from...

Thanks for the replies fellas. Drove the car and the engine and suspension and trans seemed very tight. The interior was a little disappointing and showed every mile. I previously owned almost the identical car but it had only 19,000 miles when I traded it in for my wife's 2005 SLK350.
I passed on this one.
