Why do I all of a sudden have a "blow-off" sound?

I replaced the clutch and everything feels great. However I noticed I now have a "blow-off" noise when I lift the throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. Only happens when I am driving easy (but enough to build boost) and then when I let off the gas and clutch in I hear the blow off sound. It is not crazy loud but is there for sure. It also seems to be a little delayed. I drove cars before with a blow off valve that vents to atmosphere and this is basically that only not as instant and not as loud. Any thoughts?

PS, the car holds a constant 1bar of boost at wide open throttle.

Check the intake hose on the turbos - lowering the engine dislodged them on mine and same issue.

speedbagger is infamous around these parts
agree--you likely have some type of boost/air leak.

It sounded cool! But I knew it was not a good thing to bypass the filter. I think mine was loose on the drivers side. It has the more rigid intake piping.

You were exactly right! Drivers side air intake to the turbo popped off. Rep added.
