I couldn't take it anymore. After being away from Porsches for 6 years, I decided it was long enough. I learned what I wanted (and didn't want) from my first Porsche, a '00 Carrera with aero kit. It was a tiptronic and not a wide body. After shopping around, I found what I had been looking for... a low mileage '03 996TT in seal grey with black full leather interior, carbon fiber shifter and e-brake, and most importantly, a 6 speed. It is a bone stock 2 owner car. It feels good to be back.

congrats on the pickup. years ago, i too went through a period of mourning/withdrawl before getting back into the fold. my, how they had changed. this is not my father's 356. lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I want to drive the car in stock form so that I will really be able to notice the performance improvements of each upgrade. Now let's see how long I can hold out before the mod bug bites.

Not officially. In my mind, I'm returning the car to stock appearance! Performance upgrades are the only ones I consider to be 'mods' in my book.
