Hi Ron, so far all I could check was teh 996 C4S (perfect), a 996TT stock wing (perfect) and I'm going to try tomorrow on a GT2. I just didn't get a chance

Hey Sharky,

Great pic of the smoked on the TT where we could the tailights (camera pulled back from the car). I hate to be a pain but do you have a pic of the clear third brakelight backed up enough to see the tailights as well? I definitely want to buy one from you for my black 996 but I don't know if I should go with clear or smoked and I want to see the contrast /match with the tailights. (hope this makes sense)

Thanks,
K

KC, I installed the silver one on my black TT and I would highly recommend you go with the smoked!

Sharky, Perhaps I got a bad light from Gert? Mine did not fit perfectly as you describe. In fact, in your picture it looks like the rubber gasket is not seated properly all the across the insert area? Could you please post the dimensions (width) of the third light measured over the rubber gasket? If it is the same as the stock I will try again...smoked of course. TIA!

Hey! - since that's my car, do I get royalties on the pic?

Thanks for the great service this week, Alex. I'm loving the new suspension, V-1 hardwire, and of course, new brake light.

Stay cool, bro...........Rich

got mine from gert.bfor purchasing,i hv spoken to him n he mentioned that some people hv problem with the rubber gasket being too narrow n will not fit properly.True enough the rubber gasket is too narrow it will fit with some finese but it is not seal properly.(re-install the oem,as i dont want to hv water seepage).

You do get the Royal-Teeeeazzze on it Glad we could help pal. You're going to love Route 9 and so on... That stock suspension does not belong on our beloved cars. Use your V1 wisely but don't get used to it thinking you're invincible... Sometimes those coppers don't turn on their radar and then blowing by them at ungodly speeds isn't funny anymore

Stay coo' coo'.
