Saadi996tt is infamous around these parts
Hi everyone, I have an 02 996tt with 64k odometer. Long story short I was trying to fix a broken/burned light on the tail lamps but when I removed the bulb the contact fell out. There were a few bulbs out on each side so I took all of the bulbs out to see if the broken contact was the culprit. There were too many contacts broken to try and attempt a fix so I called my local P dealer and ordered the harnesses. It wasn't too expensive but the issue is still there, put in the new harness and all new bulbs but no fix. Can anyone give me insight on this issue, I'm new to the Porsche world and any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Saadi

Get a test light and see if you have power before and after harness and keep checking back towards power source until fault is found and of course check fuses. Brake light switch sometimes can play into things.switch
