Radiators and Condensers
Radiators and Condensers
My A/C stopped blowing cold air so thought it was the typical evaporator going bad.
Took it to my A/C guy only to find a big leak out of one of my condensers.
The great news (NOT!) was that all my radiators were weeping coolant.
So going to end up replacing all radiators and both condensers.
My question is while I'm in there is it a good idea to change out any of the hoses? I've got about 70k on my 01 turbo.
Thanks!

this won't be expert advice but all i did was inspect the hoses when i replaced a rad. they looked fine. i re-used them. pretty straightforward decision to be made. i wouldn't replace them "just because".
although.. if i were to replace all the components rads/condensers? i wouldn't skimp on the hoses. 996.106.626.74 & 621.74 are the hoses on pass side

If I were going to drain the coolant sytem to replace the radiators, I would definitely install new hoses.
Even if your car has low miles, the hoses are still over 10 years old.
