the 'snap'-in water necks could easily be made, but also to note that with a longer slip-over style water necks on the new rads(like the cup car rad. shown above), the factory hoses appear to be able to be modified(cut the metal ends off and just slip the remaining rubber hose over the new rad. straight neck) to work with the 'conventional' hose clamps/slip style fitting..

I've cut Audi hose ends off and done as 993gt suggests.

Are you talking about the companies I have contacted or do you have something in the works?

Good to note. If nothing happens with the aftermarket rads soon, I will probably pull mine off and have my buddy make and weld on some end-tanks with basic water necks and cut the hoses to fit.

Yes please

+1 for an all Aluminum option. I blew both the front left and right at different times at the track, and one was at 155mph approaching the end of a straight. It got "intresting" with fluid all over the windshield and more importantly under the tires. It was a good thing there was a run off area.

The stock end tanks simply split their seams at the junction of the plastic and aluminum after some years.

I have seen CSF and GSR offerings for the non turbo cars before.

I think TPC or Tarrett sells them.

Hope that helps.

there are indeed aluminum rads for the N/A 996's, Pelican has had them a long time....would be neat to see if C&R is making them(TT), and for how much $$$

Surprised to hear there are none available. Same problem with BMW; the radiator neck gets brittle with age and can break off. I bought an all-aluminum one for the bimmer.

That would be great as I could hold off on development if it's a quality product.

Something in the works unless Tim finds a quality source.
