Does an X-50 TT also make this much RWHP Stock?

Probably not. I guess because of the AWD. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Do you have baseline hp and torque figures for the basalt black GT2? Do you remember what year the car was? 510 rwhp on a Mustang sounds very impressive.

Also, how much lower hp as a percentage do the Mustang dynos generally report versus the typical inground DynoJet dyno? I heard they were on the conservative side.

Thanks.

454 rwhp. Wow!

What type of dyno? That's over 500 hp at the crank. There is no doubt the GT2 is conservatively rated from the factory. I plan to dyno mine prior to performing a few mods and hope they are as stout as yours.

Damm those are crazy power outputs from stock GT2's, i also want to know what stock X50's are putting down or 996tt's, AWD has more drivetrain loss but you would still be able to tell if they're underrated no??

Has any of these dyno runs been made on a MAHA dyno? You will get very close to factory numbers if you do. They have been tested in Europe and get very close to factory numbers. Same for the GT3, which have sometimes yielded below factory numbers.

1- You need to have a DIN corrected dyno run, any uncorrected numbers are totally meaningless.
2- Turbo engines behave very differently when they are heavily under load and depending on how long the runs are and what type of dyno you are using.

Ever wondered why some cars dyno real 700hp and their performances are rather similar to a 500hp car? Well this is the reverse, whatever number you see above factory, I would consider it dyno optimism, and use it as a base for my future runs with other cars.

Just food for though, to each his opinions.

Makes me interested too. From what I can tell, it should be pretty darn close since the motor's are identical. The only difference I seem to notice is most X50's run .8-1.0 bar and GT2's seem to be 1.0-1.1.

That said, ill, most guys disconnect the front drivetrain when on the dyno. But I still suspect they are still experiencing a higher loss % then the GT2 guys do.

Yea I heard on some dynos they'll disconnect the front drivetrain, but then isn't that not a correct power output considering its rwd then? or do they factor in the drivetrain loss to make up for it?

Well it should be fairly accurate to se how much its putting out compared to the gt2 if you disconnect the awd , but then there's still the boost difference and between that and the awd I guess that's where the power goes haha.. does amyone just buy a 996tt and disconnect the front drivetrain to make it like a gt2, or is it still totally diff?

Why dont you guys post the dynos? 510rwhp on a stock GT2, is just plain BS.

My car dyno'd 400rwhp stock.

I don't think anyone said a "stock" GT2 lays down 510 at the wheels. However, that number was quoted after an EVO flash and exhaust change.

What car did you get the 400 rwhp?

you still have the weight. That said, there is no reason to convert it to AWD#'s because it's all about finding the HP to the motor.
