cementhog is infamous around these parts
Just changing the fluid and filter did not resolve the problem. I took the conductor plate that I bought online for $150 to a local shop that specializes in Mercedes and BMW. They replaced it and the fluid and filter (again) for $650. Not had any more problems in over 500 miles.

question about this...

I have a -99 C4 with the tip, it is now slipping in all gears 1 and up...except reverse (which works as new btw).

do any of you guys thinks that the solenoid or the plate can be the problem here aswell?

i have done fluid change twice and now the car wont even pull forward at all..

thoughts about this?

Certainly could be electronic. I could have the codes scanned to find out more. At what mileage was your first transmission fluid change?
