Any more "affordable" super light weight 19's out there?

I'm actually considering purchasing those at some point. They won't get me the weight reduction I want but might save a pound and I think do a better job of giving me the look I'm going for over my current flashy IForged wheels.

Wow, those look a lot better in Mr. Whites photos than on the Forgestar site. I think I like the concave design of the CF10 but like the shape of the spokes on the Ultraleggeras better. If only I could combine them.

I was thinking of going for the F14's a while back but I've been seeing a lot of local cars with them lately.

There was no mention of forged wheels in OP's intial post. And those Innsbrucks are light.

I picked up a set of used Champion Motorsports RS98's for $3500 a while back. I would say that's affordable and they are 19lbs front and rears are 20.5lbs.

He said super light weight which takes cast almost entirely out of the equation, I guess "super light weight" could be debated.

More interestingly those wheels listed from Victor are in fact forged which is why they are 19-20 lbs. Not 25-27lbs like typical cast wheels of the same size.

There are several cast options that are as light as many forged options. Both OZ and Forgestar have cast wheels in that 19-20 lb weight.

Not only are PSS's stickier and longer lasting than most other tires but they are also lighter in 19's than most other tires in 18's.

So, is there anything that is a similar weight to those OZ's for $2k-3k?

Err why not get 18s or 17s if you're concerned about weight? Both fit over TT brakes.

I believe there are three thought processes when purchasing light weight wheels (all justified BTW).

1. 17"
Ultimate light weight where every oz. counts (dedicated track car)

2. 18"
Make the car lighter, with very few compromises

3. 19"
Update the look by adding larger wheels/tires without adding weight

The good thing is all the above options will improve the performance of the car.

Later, Steve

Forgestar wheels are a light weight, strong, and affordable option. Forgestar wheels bridge the gap between forged wheels and cast wheels. The Forgestar lineup features one piece lightweight rotary forged custom flow formed wheels. Rotary Forged Flow Forming is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. The pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. Our technological breakthroughs in heat treating allow us to increase dent resistance without having to make the wheel heavier.

Forgestar Performance Wheels proprietary Rotary Forged Flow Forming technology allows customers to choose between a range of offsets for every wheel width that is offered. All Forgestar Performance Wheels are compatible with tire pressure sensor monitors and allow clearance for most high performance brake caliper upgrades.

What is the center spoke section made from, typically it's cast, is that the case for Forgestar?
