turb0terr0r is infamous around these parts
which looks better?

im trying to decide on some wheels for my car, but now can't decide which looks better...deep smooth lip or step lip wheel.
I'm leaning more towards the step lip look as it looks more race type and also not so bling bling...lol. So what are you guys thoughts?

For me, the stepped lip looks dated as the reverse lip is a more recent configuration.

Plus it allows a lighter 18" wheel to have the visual impact of a 19"wheel, since the spokes are longer on a reverse lip wheel.

Later, Steve

I really don't like stepped lips. I have a deep smooth lip but I am thinking of going to something monoblock and concave for less bling.

Either looks fine it's all about personal taste. Stepped lip looks great on German cars, will never really go out of style.

I feel that stepped lips are timeless opposed to flat lips, which seemed to be cool in the 90's/early 2000's, but seem to have made an exit from being the "go to look" (steplip/1 piece concave/multi piece concave with steplip)
