Well i have the gt3 bug after being at Watkins Glen last week. It was a great weekend with five of us going up together. We shipped the cars by transport. While there I couldn't help but think about the gt3. So this morning I was fortunate enought to go in one on the westside highway. The car felt just as fast as the turbo in first and second gear-This is one strong engine with the sound to match. On Wed and Thursday I was lucky enough to be invited to summit Point for two days of testing with 2 cup cars, a gt3, my turbo, and possibly a ferrari 360. I will have pictures later this week. I also have scheduled to have Spencer Pumpelly (gt3r driver, skip barber instructor, daytona driver) come for two days of instuction. Should be fun!!

 

Sounds great Mike, everything I read about the GT3 is great, the car has gotten great press and owners seem to be pleased and say its all that was expected, keep us posted.

 

Mike, Also what event did you attend at Watkins Glen and also what event is this at Summit Point, what orginizations?

 

Trackquest was last weekend and this week is a just five guys renting out the track for testing.

 

Mike, What is it running to rent Summit for the 2 days?
