Question Tire Pressures and **** Retention

Question out to the group: How fastidiously do you check your tire pressures?

I run the recommended 36f/44r in my 03ttx50. I don't necessarily top off the air when it's down to 34.5f and 41.

How low do the fellow members allow the pressures to get before you take the time to fill up the tires?

if your tire pressure is low, fill it. not doing so will wear out your tires faster and give you less mileage.

i check pressure every month or so. definitely every two months for sure.

chances are, if you lose more than two lbs every month, you may not be driving it enough or tire has a slow leak (likely valve stem).

I keep a running log of tire pressures. I start out with measuring the cold pressure before I leave. Then take the hot reading when I get back. I also log the outside air temp. With this log I can set my cold pressure for a given outside temp and arrive at my target hot pressure.

For example last time out I stated with 32F and 35R cold. 70F day.
That gave me 36.6F and 39.6R. That 36/40 works well with my set up on the street. The stock cold pressures are too high IMO.

Please tell me you don't really keep a log and this is all a just a joke. Aren't there enough other things to keep track of and worry about? Just check the psi every so often and move on. You will not get any extra points at the finish line for an air pressure spreadsheet.
