I sent an email to my contact last week. He said he would check with the factory and get back to me. Nothing yet. I sent another note this morning, but nothing back on that either. I'm still expecting good things from these guys, so don't get too impatient. They have been very good at answering me in the past and the last word I got in June was that we were still a go for August. You can throw in the towel on 1 September!

I did sell to acquire a newer P-car... most likely by 2015. I do have a bunch of 996 stuff for sale: amplifier, decklid w/rams, interior bits, headers, etc... check my for sale threads.
I hate to be negative but I'm starting to I really need new tail lights because of broken tabs but I may just use fiberglass to repair mine. I signed up on the first thread pledging to buy these well over a year ago and at this point after all the missed dates and lack of communication by the vendor/manufacturer it's hard to realistically expect this product to ever see the light of day.
"They have a few blown LED's" statement struck me as a little odd.
I thought LED's had a notoriously long lifespan.
Is this an indication of the nature of LED lights or an indication of the quality of product that is being produced by DRC?
