Turbo Ebrake/Parking brake button gone!

Hey guys, I have been searching on here and renntech for the past hour or so and I cannot seem to get a straight answer to my question.

Here is goes,
I bought my Turbo missing the parking brake button and after checking with both the dealer and sources online I have found that I cannot just purchase the button, bummer but oh well. I found a guy who is willing to part with his leather Ebrake unit out of his 03 C4S, which I know will fit. My question is can I swap the aluminum handle portion off of my existing unit onto the one from the C4S.

Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think so. It's all one piece, the handle doesn't separate.

The button on my 2004 996TT e-brake pops off frequently and simple slips back on with no issues

Why not buy one from ebay and take the parts you need?

I replaced the whole assembly on my car since it was scratched up. The E-brake still has the button you are looking for. PM if you are interested.
