Out of 25 responses... 14 of them were non-2001 pop-outs.

And that is an old thread. I'm sure there are more now.

 

Reading all the post they were way more 2001 then any other year. I guess some people didn't vote.

 

Jesus. You are not a fan of hearing anything that doesn't agree with your random generalizations.

Bottom line. 2nd gear pop out can and has occurred in all model year 996TTs and even 997TTs. Some were due to improper shimming from factors, some due to mis shifts and damaged dog rings, some from improper shimming after rebuilds, after repairs due to money shifts.

Those are facts.
