Nice pictures of cars that we know was done as a kit. (the one one BruceM's old car, not sure about the black one)

How much are we talking about to get the basic RSR style seen in the picture of the white one above? What am I overlooking?

--Body kit: between $3500 (xtreme dimensions/duraflex) and $6000 (Vis)
--Wheels/tires $3k+

--Suspension (coilovers, sways, whatever)

--Exhaust fabricated to utilize the center exit (YMMV)

--Bodywork to get everything cut/fitted/prepped/mounted (???????)
--Bodywork to get headlights to mount & anything else needed (no idea what these kits actually "need" done to make work, I just have read big numbers being thrown around)

--Paint (no idea, knock on wood)

While it's not really the purpose of the thread... I gotta ask it anyways: Is there anything that is offered for our cars that is more mild, like the front fender/overfender used on the 997 GT2 RS? (Other than actually having the metal be worked, and then mold the bumper with fiberglass or something)

member 'HIGHcard' did something different, put generic overfeners on his car.

(can't find any clear pictures of his car, sorry)

Here is a GT3RS that BBi put together, I'm really curious if that little fender extension on the front could go on our cars.

More applicably to this thread, BBi designed their own fenders for their "projekt grip" 997TT

Tires are 285/345, so I guess they don't need to be any wider lol

Here are some more pictures of EDO's 996 RSR styled kit with 997 lights. This just looks chubby and bloated to me, rather than muscular :o

Not RSR or even on widebody cars for that matter, but some of the better pictures I've seen of the Ruf RGT's overfenders and the like.

The white car above is a build that Sharkwerks did, more here: http://sharkwerks.com/porsche/996-ca...e-and-ruf.html

Stumbled onto another type of 'thin' overfenders made by Eur Sport. Don't remember seeing them posted so here they are

 I'm pumped to see what your impressions are!!

You're going to be doing all of these from AIR?
A.I.R Front Bumper 1" Widers Than Stock
A.I.R Front Fenders 1" Wider Than Stock
A.I.R Rear Flares 1" Wider Than Stock
A.I.R Rocker Panels
Air Duct Extensions
A.I.R Rear Bumper 2" Wider Than Stock

Do you anticipate needing anything else? What are you going to do for the front lip?
How are you going to address the additional width of the body in relationship to the wheels? Just wider wheels and lower offsets?

I thought that this French kit looked pretty good it does come with 997 lights but the flares look nice.

Yeah, me to! Would be a good project for a car that's been in a collision! You can pick up wrecks with salvage titles for pretty cheap from insurance auctions! ;)

Any updates, how did the kit look like, quality?
Could you post a couple of pics holding the rear fenders in place so I can get a felling for the look! :-)
