Loren (911 D) took car of my GT3 Cup car and installed the GT3R kit you see in my avatar. My new 911 race car project (the widebody GT2 iteration) is at Vision with Dwain. I might add that both are top notch shops and very knowledgeable at making race cars go seriously fast. John

Been dragging my feet... still haven't started. Busy and some other issues with the car needed sorting out first. will start a project post when things get rolling here in month or two.

Here a couple more. No idea on complete date, hope soon though. Flat curve is how they set up the road racers. Maybe 600 peak or so but really have no idea until it's on the dyno.

Thanks. We had to tub the rear wells which meant moving everything to run the full RSR suspension, wheels and tires for clearance. Here are a couple of pics that show the new intercooler intakes and the air path to the intercoolers. The stock tail light housing is gutted and seals off the intercooler chamber forcing air movement from high pressure to low pressure. The tail light lenses will have quick connectors to remove quickly and clean the intercoolers of tire clag.

Joining this thread late, however I am interested in making my 2002 996 Turbo a wide body or adding overfenders while keeping it street. So much info here, but is there a conclusion on which kit offers this for a street car with minimal race conversion? I saw GMG use to offer a kit but it's no longer posted on their new site. Any advice you have is appreciated!

Anyone find where to purchase bolt on fender flares like the RUF cars for the 996 or 996TT?
