1/4mile trap speed first impression
ya I was surprised how quick it was, track was real good with no spin so that probably helped a bunch,.. haven't dyno'd the car yet but when I was talking with the guys at Suncoast who have done another with the identical mod's, they said 620hp crank!?!?.. stock k24's and wastegates, the best I can tell, plan on re-tuning next year to make it smoother and perhaps more conservative for track-use...
can't see it being hard for yours to hit 135 trap

brnrdtns How much boost were you running?
hey guys,
so last night I went to the track and tested for the first time my beast ! my goal was not braking an axle but test my trap speed only ! overall I'm happy with my time but i think i should see more like 133-135 mph with that kit especially with last night track condition
car setup: -250 lbs a28 GT700 kit , rwd conversion 94oct pump , bridgstone 305/30/19 re-11 at 35psi no heat up so yeah tire spinning lol!!
track condition: flat track, 240 feet above sea, 75f, tailwind around 4mph ,pressure around 30 inHg, 70% rh

seeing 1.1 bar consistently(say a 30 degree C day), up to 1.2 bar on a cold day. To best of my knowledge it is a EVOMS/GIAC stage 3, running plain old 94 octane pump. Horrible throttle control/surges especially at low throttle inputs so will probably check throttle-body for gunk build-up then otherwise re-tune it via UMW, EPL, etc...it pulls crazy hard, leaves my buddy's 2011 supercharged 5.0 Stang in the dust, 13mph faster down the 1/4 haha
[QUOTE=mtlsp;3927922]awesome !was that pump or race fuel?how much boost?im sure you got the best bang for the buck kit!

Biggest thing I found is soft rear so it can squat. I dyno'd 420rwhp if I remember correctly.

It's possible. I just checked mine from my last car. I ran 130.76mph@11.39 on stock k24's, exhaust, tune and vp109.

i wish i could buy a better valued gt2 and only add a tune and peanut and get crazy fast! i spend 25k for trapping 132
!

Your car should be very smooth. PM me your VIN number and I can see how old the software is in the car to let you know if there is an update.
