Just removed the y-pipe and cleaned the throttle body. Now, I noticed the small hose in the photo is just very loosely inserted into another hose and you can pull it out without effort. I don't see any sort of hose clamp anywhere so I'm wondering if this is normal???

The opposite end is connected to the N75 valve and is not loose.

Yeah I think that is the one that goes into the "F" hose - it just press fits in. Surprised it does not blow out, but must be a low pressure line I guess.
