My reserve on ebay was $130k, but, I ended up including the exhaust and selling the car for $133k... I actually had a buyer at $135k, but, had already given my word with the guy who bought for $133k....but, had a cash buyer for $135k

Put away the rose tinted glasses for your recently departed ride and start getting all hogged-up about that 06 beast that's got your name all over it! I bet by April of next year you're going to be frantic!

Wow, talk about good friends! Your pain-easing "perscriptions" sound quite effective Shank...

It was a good looking car Lou, I'm sure it wasn't easy - but hey, like you said, you would have only gotten a few extra months out of driving it anyways...

Gotta love it....an M5 as a "filler" car till the TT comes along. Good sale on your ride though...good price indeed.

Wow I cannot believe you got that price when you see GT2's going for $115k and other turbos at something insane like sub $70k. Congratulations on that.

Lou,

You got a kick *** price for your car Congrats!

Any way you can hook me up for 997TT in June. Let me know.

I'm in Florida right now and I will be back in Chicago August 22nd. Lets hook up one night for drinks or dinner.

Take Care.

Congrats on the sale, it worked out perfect for you.

Well, with my friend getting $10-15k over list for the new M5, I told him I didn't want to take one at list and do that to him. I told him to have his party and not take one big profit car just to sell it to me at sticker. So, he is selling me the 1st 650i he gets, at invoice. I'll drive it for 6-7 months, he says he'll buy it back for $4k less than I paid. Not a bad deal, cost me $700/mo to drive a $75k car.. In the spring my plan is to get an M6 and 997TT....Lets hope it works!!

Well, they made VERY few Turbo S coupes, I believe 150.. Most people paid list for theirs and you can't find a coupe anywhere. I The guy who bought it for $133k was a dealer, so he no doubt worked another 4-5k profit into the deal on the resale, I also had another buyer at $135k which leads me to believe its not over market. Retail to retail, the car was $138k + about $12-14k in mods.. Just because I didn't pay full retail on any of the stuff, the average guy to duplicate my car pays $150-152k......
