Electrical prob. Car won't turn over and has low brake fluid warning.
I've been driving my car for around 2,000 miles since I had the engine out. The other day everything was fine, and I parked the car at a friends house for a few hours and when I came back the starter would not turn over with 12v of battery power. No click. I push started the car and on the way home I got a low brake fluid light, which I have not seen before. My brake fluid is full and my brakes work fine. Could I have had some type of animal chew my wires or something? I tried hot wiring the clutch down switch and it didn't work. Any ideas on what to try next?
I have seen bizarre stuff like this in the past and it was my battery. I checked the voltage and it was 12v same as you but when to a shop to have it load tested and analyzed and a few cells were dead (whatever that means). 1 new battery later and my electrical gremlins that I thought were going to be a million dollars to fix were gone. If it's not getting the right charge or voltage or holding a charge while driving you'll see all kinds of funny business.
Use of load sensors will be perfect option in this situation. Try to find out a perfect sensors and use it in your project.
