Painting brake calipers on my 996TT

For some reason, some of the red paint has flaked off of my red brake calipers leaving those areas kind of an orangish/red. Could that happen from excessive heat?

Also, does anyone know of a good place in New York to have them repainted and the cost involved in doing so?

Any input here would be very helpful.

Thanks!
