laser detector and jammer are useless gadget because once you got triggered it's already to late cops are not stupid! IMO

laser interceptor has rave reviews and proof it works

My Laser jammer has never failed me, not even once and it has had many encounters with laser guns. Detector is not useful with laser in almost all circumstances. mtlsp you obviously have no experience with a good laser jammer. The LI or Blinder have very solid records of jamming almost all encounters.

I'd take a steering wheel ...
At least a wheel give me driving pleasure, a jammer gives me anxiety.

I have an escort ZR4 radar jammer and also run a Passport 9500ix. The detector has saved my bacon many times. The jammer (came with the car) has never done anything for me. My CHP friends tell me that Lidar is pretty accurate and if they are shooting it at you and not returning a reading, and you look like you are fast, they will find a reason to pull you over. In CA, no front license plates is a good enough reason to pull you over, and if they see that you have jamming capabilities, they can mark you no-front plate an non correctable offense, meaning it cost 250 bucks

Personally I'd go with the steering wheel. I rarely encounter a true laser with my Valentine One. Its all radar. Maybe its my area, but all the laser I see is false alarms. Raid wheels look so good too...

HOW to spend it and WHAT to spend it are two totally different things.

In this case we are choosing WHAT to spend it on. The decision of how I am spending my money was already decided by me and that is to spend it on my vehicle, now the decision is WHAT.

lol

Agree with this.

get the laser inceptor- after a few times going off- figure you've saved 1/3 the cost of the wheel-
my 07 TT came with blinder M25- 3 heads in front, 1 rear- peace of mind knowing you'll know when
your tagged is nice- also had 2 head blinder on previous 02 996C2.

get the LI. get both if you want the steering wheel. the LI works. Lidar is more common than radar on Houston streets during the daytime. They (LIDAR) apparently give errors quite frequently so it's not a big deal to most troopers if they see an error, i.e., they're not going to pull you over for the result that the LI causes on their display (unless you're going 130+ then it's obvious!)

Kendall993 Oct 3, 2013 08:28 PM

get the LI. for sure. It will save you enough money in tickets or lawyer fees to pay for the steering wheel.

Wealth Manager Oct 3, 2013 08:50 PM

u guys use quad triple or double? i was gonna run 2 font 1 rear

Kendall993 Oct 3, 2013 09:03 PM

Triple for sure. Most hits happen in the front.
