OK, I didn't drive my car much around town or in heavy traffic, so first gear engagement never really bothered me. But I much prefer the stock clutch to the GT2 conversion I drove. It felt like a Corvette, and you needed a larger left leg to to pump the thing. No thanks.

If drag racing is your primary objective, then I can see why you might want the GT2 conversion, but for road racing, I don't see the need.
Agreed..

Remove the booster spring at the top of the pedal and get the feel of the engagement point back. I did a thread on this years back on another forum. It has proven very popular with most saying it's the best mod ever for the "NO FEEL" Porsche hydraulic clutch. No more stalling or wondering WTF is this clutch going to engage, it all feels the same.

Makes it feel like a manual shift should.

I have the stronger GT2 box with cooler but know my synchros are going to be toast in no time. Mine's full race (track only) so it's to be expected. My next move is most likely to a full dog box.

It sure is. I used this one for a time and liked it. Wound up removing the adjustable bolt and just used the split block.
Just remember to jump the clutch lock-out switch at the fire wall, since you can't depress the clutch pedal all the way if you put this thing on.
