How easy is the starter to get to?

I'm changing my alternator (again) and I noticed that the wire connecting to the alternator is semi-chewed up.

Suncoast Ryan sent me the diagram and it looks like its connected to the starter.

How difficult is the starter to get to if I were to change the entire wiring harness?

About 80% of the actual wiring seems to be good so I'm considering just ghetto-izing it and wrapping it in some sorta rubber for the mean time.

TIA.

Simi_996 is infamous around these partsSimi_996 is infamous around these parts
I was able to change my starter on jack stands without having to move or remove additional parts. It's a tight fit, but doable from under the car, passenger side.
