Mark I like the dealings I have had with you, you stand behind your products and work which is sadly very rare nowadays with many other venders.

But I will say the this, I seriously have found not one speck of discernible drone in this 3" cat-less Promotive exhaust; and the much higher pitched sound it emits is just brilliant sounding, I usually hate turbo Porsche exhaust sounds and yes I have heard a fair number different exhaust systems on Pcars. It is actually the quietest systems I have owned and heard for in cab noise and one of the best sounding too.

That said...if you are looking to go for more track ... you already headed the wrong way with 19's / the turbo's you have, the PSS9's you are getting /clutch system etc. ... anyways- i know everyone hears this at one point but talk to people with experience in what you are trying to accomplish( If I want goto fast power i go to Marski or UMW- those 2 know tons of info).. i have 10 years of it with DE's ( 7 years in Porsches) not including my pro racing license+ nationals in karting.. . That said' - ill see you at track in Decm for your first event.
First, I think Alpha 28s are perfect track turbos and Second, someday I may get some track wheels but for now I just don't see the need. I'm never going to catch you and I wouldn't try to! I want to live a few more years at least. I will surely learn a lot as I start going to more DE's and over time make many more mods but now I'm going at it the right way and getting involved before just spending money without knowing the best choice for upgrades. Suspension is a great example...just like exhaust people get one that they can't live with and end up s#!tcanning it only to buy a less or more aggressive system. This time I'm going to try some DE's first before upgrading. I won't be able to drive the stock suspension even close to 9/10s as an amateur and I have no illusions about that

There's a lot of talk about bashing vendors on this thread and I want to reiterate that I am the one who bought an exhaust that I couldn't live with...I am not bashing EBWerks in any way and if you re-read the OP that is clear.

Glad you have the right approach -> if you really enjoy the sport, just hire a coach, $ well spent.

I agree Eddie - most spend money on what they think will make them faster in aftermarket bits but reality is-- 8/10 guys who show up to a track day cannot extract more then what the car can do stock from the factory.

Mike I disagree with the turbos you have are suited for the track -- especially at your driving level but - if you think they will work that is all that matters ..as for 19's on your car..its your geometry of your car is all jacked up but again if you think they will work for what you want to do at the track more power to you.

I got the power upgrades because I wasn't happy with the K16's and I got the wheels because I hated the stock ones. These were upgrades to make me enjoy the car more and money well spent. I never intended to build a track specific car. Like I said if I do get more into tracking I'll probably get track wheels. I won't be pushing the car anywhere near its limits until I've had a lot of track time.
Johnspeed...that comment really was not necessary. WTF?

Mike sorry if I insulted your driving, I didn't mean to if I did( I didn't intent to or recall that I did) . Just clarifying (after you stated you are going more track oriented which is why you changed the exhaust) you are heading the wrong way...in respect to all your mods on your car...I'm only trying to be helpful if you want to do more track. I have talked many pp on the phone on this forum n relist w a turbo whom want to make their turbo more track oriented. Some listen some don't .
