Gt700 Vs Gt800

I currently have the EVO GT700 and was thinking of upgrading to the GT800. has anyone felt the difference in the 2 cars and is it noticeable for the $25,000 price I have to pay to get an extra 100hp.

what happens to turbo reaction time or lag? I know you get upgraded engine components that a car with that power should have.

any thoughts??

thanks!
Austin

Mana - you "upgraded" because you are constitutionally incapable of saying NO ..........

It is a different feeling all together. You should consider upgraded components even at the 700 level. If the car is driven on a regular basis you will want to get this taken care of soon.

The GT800 does cost $25K more, but you are getting a complete motor build + all the other goodies that come with the GT800 (Turbo Inlets, Custom Turbos, Custom Software, etc..). The benefit of that is once the motor is built, you can firstly sleep easy at night knowing that you are putting down that much power, and secondly you can continue to safely upgrade the HP well beyond 800HP. The GT700 did win the shootout and it is one the most well rounded packages that is available. However, I am sure that Mana will agree that the 800 makes you light-headed when you push the pedal to the floor. The GT800 is what starts to separate the men from the boys!

Mana,

how do you feel about the "seat of the pants" difference between the 700 and 800?
