Would be great to see what times an equal speed starting comparison would turn out, just to show case how much of an impact the rolling anti-lag makes (vs. starting a 55, mashing the gas and waiting for boost to build up).
Interestingly enough, the best times i've achieved have been by hitting the
rolling anti-lag right at 60 mph. I've done some come comparisons and overall
it's good for about 2 or three tenths.

It's a cool feature but it is hard on the car. It's hard on turbos and the
drivetrain so you gotta use it sparingly.

Thanks bro! The target boost is 28 lbs and it looks like it's
holding 27 thru the runs. So I would say 1.85.

Yea, it def sounds abusive on everything and an "in case of emergency *** whooping" function, but that's awesome that right from 60 MPH it catapults you. Guessing the car is right in the meat of the powerband at whatever RPM it's holding

exactly! ... never! .

ps.. if you're going for the stock triple cone synchros? make sure they shim it to the ammended factory specs! though i think you may have some taller gears(?) though synchros are the same. they had to re-do mine twice.

The 2 step or rolling anti-lag, holds whatever rpm you choose. This feature
works in concert with a set of predetermined boost settings. The ProEfi has
5 boost settings.

Here's a raw graph of the 4.65 run. Notice how I'm tooling along at 60 and
WHAMO! The graph goes vertical. It's like getting hit in the *** with a
sledgehammer!

other parts are the same then. i only mention it as it's amazing how few techs know of the shims to change the tolerances etc. was a pita to do it twice.

Thanks Sam! When you do a build like this, every weak point is going to
be revealed! When you get through breaking everything that's gonna break
and replace it with stronger components, you can enjoy your car lol.

I hear you! Most techs, even trained Porsche techs, have very little experience
with the insides of a 96 trans. Even fewer have actually beefed one up. That's
where Roger with California Motorsports comes in!
