so.. what is it with n4 rated ps2's? i replaced them approx 2500 miles ago and while i do nip the berm of tight corners on occasion i have NEVER knowingly come into contact with ANYthing rt rear, and lo and behold. i have a sizable bubble with what looks like radial steel poking through the sidewall!

wont be driving that for long

so.. anyone want to venture how i will fare with my regular tire dealer/installer when i ***** to them about this "mfg defect" tomorrow? or will be this just be a straightforward "denial of claim" by michelin themselves, once i jump thru their hoops. fkn 500$ tire. 3 months. i'm sure theyll claim i hit something! ( but wouldn't a wheel or sidewall show telltale signs of that!? )

never had this issue with previous 3 or 4 sets of n rated ps2's that quite literally sat around for 5-7 years. no sh*it. my luck this car nickel and dimes me to death at $500-$1000 per nickel and dime
Yeah, it sucks! Both dealers I took it to said the same thing - Michelin will not warranty that damage . So, I gave up on my claim pretty quickly. I got a response to a WTB ad from a 6speeder, and bought his single 315 with date code and wear VERY close to the same as my remaining tire for about $150 . Luckily I still have my 18" twists with tires I was able to run until my issue was fixed. Try a WTB ad. Good luck!

Wasn't even worth a conversation, I must've smacked the berm so that's good for two new PS 2s" aligned/mounted for 1200 :-) a typical weeks expenditure for this car
