If the car will look that good and be a performer (which I'm sure it will be), I don't think many of us (including myself) will have the self control to stay away from the 1st year run (this knowing it is not a good idea and we will most likely have to deal with annoying 1st year gremlins).

That photoshop can't be right as the wheelbase doesn't look long enough for a proper rear door. The front looks great and I think they will spend much time on a nice-looking design to compete with the current trend of sleek, coupe-like sedans. I'm sure Porsche will use a current powertrain rather than spend the big $ on another. It would make sense for them to utilize whatever the Cayenne triplets are running, but probably all won't be available from the get-go. As for the big Maser, it is really sharp and available now versus a dog's life for the Porsche.

Ron,

I heard very good things about Maserati - but I'd wait for the Panamera.

07-08, I could trade in my then two year old 4 door Maserati, if things stay good with work, I hope to order one soon.

I'm surprised on how this is turning out (if this is how it is really going to look), it looks awsome. Too bad the recent 997TT pics havn't been as flattering.
