These codes are caused by sustained AFR differences of => 15% between the cylinder banks. The thing is, and I should have remembered this, the rear sensors do more than just check cat efficiency. They also have a role in calculating the air/fuel ratio. I did an experiment that proved this by leaving the rear sensors connected to the harness but outside the exhaust pipe, exposed to the atmosphere. This caused the car to become extremely rich after a running for a while because the ECU was trying to compensate for what it thought was a very lean mixture.
The point is, those extenders were causing strange false readings that made the ECU compensate and caused the cylinder banks to have a large enough AFR disparity to trigger that CEL every few days.
It all makes sense now.

Today it was sunny and dry so i took out my car for a ride. At the autobahn i put the pedal to the metal. The aral ultimate 102 wanted to be burner... After a hot ride the autobahn was free so i wentfor top speed. As i reached to 310 km/h the check engine light popped up flashibg like mad.
I hit the clutch and let the car role a bit with no gear and on idle. At idle oil pressure was good no smoke no weird sounds. engine ran smooth like always. I put back in gear 6 and drove on taking it easy. The check engine light dissapeared. Perhaps it was flashing for 15-20 sec. at home i checked codes but there werent any at all.
I guess on of the lambda probes wasnt amused and hit the alarm.
Guess sooner or later this probe will pass away someday.

Heartattack moment for sure.

90% of these cars don't even have a pressure test done. Guys just buy a OTC tune, then get rs Ics because they all believe in miracles, then rheow on hoses that don't seal up, pick up some turbos from eBay with who kneels what in it and where the Wgs are set , then drop it off to some body shop ( not a car shop) because it's cheaper and expect things to go smooth. This is the reality. I may sound like I'm complaining. I'm not. Just sometimes it's frustrating when guys call me and half of the calls are issues with existing set uos asking for help. Had you don't it right the first time you would not have these issues I tell them. Thus , if it's too good to be true it usually is.
If your tuner doesn't take responsibility for the cars performance, status , nor pushes you to be on top of it like with boost leak tests etc, I would think twice because that person is the one that's calling me in 6 months when things go south. its a never ending story, I have 2 such emails just today. Yesterday, I looked at a 996 with a misfire he's had after Doing coolant lines with some Porsche Indy. He had 3 vacuum leaks yet he made them do a pressure test with my unit. I sat there showed him the leaks and he shook his head. But it's gets even better. He has a popular kit running the hitachi with turbos w/ Wgs , injectors , Ics , etc. I logged the car it's running only 1 bar. I asked have noticed that ? His answer was I though this is how it's supposed to be ( they reflashed it with the Hitachi Maf last year. I said , I strongly suggest you get a hold of them and send the log.
The educated you are as a consumer the more value you will get for your money. Not to mention, a smile on your face when your in the car.
This is standard issue with these cars and the service you pay for. The good guys are and in between. So choose wisely.
Best
