Ya your right.. There is much much much more after Speed GT.,..
I mean there is the 24 Hours of Lemans and theres Daytona and you know things like that.....Speed GT is surely not the end to all...

Dont get me wrong, I can appreciate drag racing for what it is... Anything, is better than just letting these cars sit in the garage... Dont you agree.........

Thanks MrB for a great post.
You and Fabryce have inspired me to go to Texas Motorplex tonight instead of letting the car sit in the garage.

Local temps 101 to 104 (38 to 40c).

That's good for times, right?

Don't even start with the circuit racer elitist attitude! Never argue about politics, religion ... or drag racing vs circuit racing! That way lies eternal torment!

Nobody ever said you can't enjoy both.

On an 18" or 19" wheel/tyre, just start with the manufacturer's recommended maximum. There's not much you can do with such minimal sidewalls.

Great post!

Quick question: Why do you increase the tire (or is it tyre) pressure on the front wheels with AWD TTs? Shouldn't we try to increase traction there as well by lowering the pressures?

Thanks again for the great re-post,

Alex

Reduce rolling resistance. After the launch your rear wheels should be providing almost all the drive.
