I'm with HIX. At no point should a 911 turbo be cheaper than a Camry LOL

Either way, I'm enjoying the heck out of it in the meantime. Although a 997 GT3 looks like a lot of fun!!!
Amen. Some people are determined to give their cars away. Not me. And as a buyer I'd be happy to pay a premium to get exactly what I want. Who cares if you find a bargain but it isn't really what you want anyway?

I am under the same understanding that X50 was only offered starting in 2002. Easy enough to tell though, X50 option will be under the hood listed as an option in the options sticker.

My cheap advice for those looking to buy (what I did): Find one you want, get a PPI, go see it for yourself (even if that means a plane tix), and if it's in your price range, BUY IT. Don't look back, since I bought my '03 I have never gone back to research prices. Things changes prices will fluxuate. I am happy with the car and what I paid for it. As for resale, that doesn't come in play for me I don't plan to sell her. Now go get one and enjoy the hell out of it.

Agreed. There is too much variation in options. Also maintenance plays a factor. If one car has new tires, clutch and tune and one is completely stock and will need those in the near future that's worth a few grand right there. Or body kits. Or wheels. Everything is so expensive on these things that you cant just compare against other 996TT you have to look at the spec list.

You guys are definitely spoiled down there though. Up here in Canada its pretty much take what you can get for used TT's. I lucked out on my speed yellow and jumped on it as soon as the guy posted it. In the 1.5 years I have been looking and then helping my brother and friend find one only one speed yellow and one seal grey have popped up. Rest are all silver.

Also, if you are going to worry about 2-3K difference when buying one then these cars are not for you lol!

adding a glovebox is a massive job unfortunately otherwise i would do it too, i guess im used to it now, dont really have much crap in the car anyway, i just try and cram it all in the arm rest, thought about the benz net but not sure what i would put in it, would look messy with just random crap thrown in
