If it is Dallas, there is only one place to stay.....The Crescent Court Hotel

See pictures here.....

I stayed there during the 2002 Gumball. Amazing place.

Okay,

Who added the last option?? And if you voted that way why don't you consider getting a group together to ship your car to Texas. You will not want to miss this event!

Haha, maybe some **** talkers out there who really don't have the power they say they do. $ 1k to transport a $ 200k car or surely some of the guys with all of those cars in the garage including Cayenne TTs could afford a trailer. I even have one of those as do most of the DE guys around here.

I would think people would want to show off these mystery machines we always hear about, unless the numbers are . . . Maybe you could get some participation from those guys on the 60 - 130 Rennlist forum topic who are so stuck on "real performance" and "real horsepower."

Dallas is about the same distance from New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA around 1500 miles.

Economy is relatively good, cost of living is relatively low and 44 of the 52 weeks of the year have good weather (four weeks too cold, four weeks too hot). $500K will buy you a shack in Cali, but a pretty nice home in most of TX. Nightlife is good and TX has some gorgeous ladies (as do NYC and Cali).

There is no State income tax, but don't let this fool you- property taxes are high, anywhere from $2.25-2.75 per $100 assessed value on homes.

That's sad but the same could be said for any location. People who want to go will go, and those who do not will stay home.
