Idle for spool down new guy question

I did a search and didn't find anything but I'm sure this has probably been discussed. So, really I have two questions.

First, is the oil that remains in the turbos enough that I don't need to worry about waiting for them to spool down, or should the car idle for a min before I shut it off?

Second, what's your preferred way to search this forum?

Thanks,
Dan

I always take a short cruise at very low RPM's out of boost and then once i get home let it idle for a few minutes.

Porsche recommends at least 2 minute spool down/cooling off. I generally drive the last mile home without using any boost at all and then still let spool down for a minute or two. Had a Turbo (Porsche) years ago where I didn't do that and the Turbo had to be replaced at 14 months!

Agree , two minutes cool down minimum and for the search engine, keywords and lots of patience... Good luck!

I'll be sure to give it a nice cool down before shut down. Thanks for the responses.
