Well after what feels like a century. I finally got her up and running!!!
Garth was able to remote in last week and get me up and running for the time being. The car is currently running on the gates at 10psi and I admit, I haven't pushed it to there yet. I'll be running on pump gas for a while until I get time to have it tuned on pump, and then on to e85.
I took it up to Golden Gate Canyon Rd yesterday and put it through its paces. It did great!!! Not one hiccup the whole time! Idle was ROCK solid and even in 6th gear when under partial load..it never skipped a beat. I rolled into boost a few times and it feels pretty strong. I did the 2wd conversion on it and steering feels much sharper IMO as well. I still have a few little things that I need to do and clean-up but it's pretty much done, except for tune and MOAR boost!!!
BTW, does somebody know if the ProEFI 52mm CAN gauge will work on the Pro112? That's my next purchase!!! Oh and some lowering springs!!!!
Pic of the car taking a break!
Small video of idling on Pro112 (I know it sucks). I'll get more SOON!!!
Thanks guys!!! Yea, warm idle on the straight pipes isn't to bad at all!! I am very pleased how well the car runs on the pro112.
It's been a long time. This has been one of the most challenging cars I've EVER worked on, lol. Of course I did everything with the motor still in the car or lowered a tad bit too. Going to enjoy it for a little while until winter comes then do a few more things.
Nice, who built the motor? Interested on how you like the ProEfi.

STOCK motor for now.....I won't be pushing it TOO much. I'd rather build a good motor than a trashed one. The pro112 seems very cable and surprising on how fast I was up and running. I'll post updates as time goes on. Going to take it out and do some logging to see what she does on gates alone.
that y pipe setup looks *****in! get some springs on that boat LOL
it'll look and ride great!
Thanks Mark!!! Pretty simple dual 2.5" into 3". I'm going to change the BOVs out at some point to some 50mm tials. It's setup for wheeling on these Colorado back trails currently!!

our backroads are highly similar and your engine comp is pretty sweet, esp with all ya got goin on back there! wheelie capable is the setup to have.. low to mid oomph... then lookout!
Mostly, just the independence and ability to do what I want to do. For example - maf removal for fender intakes, straight pipes, live tuning, boost control, 2 step and anti-lag, fault/protection management, logging, staging fuel pumps, closed loop afr target control, FLEX FUEL...etc. To me it was one of the first things I wanted to do because I knew I would be doing all the other stuff later on.

good call for sure. lot's of features you just cant get in a 15 year old bosch ecu.
i like the new widebands that they are using with the 112 now too, they dont need any warmup time on startup and super fast.

when i started on mine i spoke to a number of big builders. every one agreed that engine management was critical over rods and internals if you had to choose . going proefi was the logical choice since the other companies seem to be copying what proefi is doing with v/e mapping

mark can these sensors be used with the 128? I'm guessing garth has them?
