Talking German vs. Italian

Five Germans in an Audi Quattro arrive at the Italian border.
The Italian Customs agent stops them and tells them:

"It'sa illegala to putta 5 people in a Quattro."

"Vot do you mean it'z illegal?" asks the German driver.
"Quattro meansa four" replies the Italian official.

"Qvattro is just ze name of ze automobile", the Germans retort
unbelievingly. "Look at ze papers: zis car is designt to kerry 5
persons."

"You can'ta pulla thata one on me!", replies the Italian
customs agent.
"Quattro meansa four. You hava fivea people ina your car and you
are thereforea breaking the law."

The German driver replies angrily, - "You idiot! Call your
zupervisor over, I vant to speak to somevone viz more
intelligence!"

"Sorry", responds the Italian official, "he can'ta come. He'sa
busy witha 2 guys in a Fiat Uno.

Enzo is on top of my list for sure. The pictures don't do that car justice. I was floored when I saw one in person. I wonder how much of a discount Ferrari will can get on a group buy?

Oh, really? Is your comment based upon fact or perception? Funny, I've HEARD that it is the British that hold this dubious honor!

"The more an Italian auto breaks down, the more endearing it becomes
to its increasingly irrational owner. For example, you purchase an
Italian Sports car, for all the money you ever hoped to earn, and
receive a ticket for air pollution on the way home from the dealer due
to the vast clouds of smoke that follow you. Several return trips to
said dealer, accompanied by your rapidly dwindling cash reserves,
cures the smoking. But now, the engine sounds like a food processor
full of ball-bearings. After replacing every component in the car,
including the radio speakers, the noise vanishes and is replaced by an
odor reminiscent of a major fire in a goat-hair mattress factory. You
still keep trying, God help you. "

experience

Whoops, forgot about "the british patients"

But anyway, I´m speaking from experience. My Fiat (yes, i drive a Fiat ) has had a number of problems and although they´re sorted out now, it was quite frustrating. Luckily, everything was repaired under warranty

Talking Hopefully, Tony won´t have to fix it again...

Didn´t know that one . However, the car seems to be settled in now, with the transmission replaced under warranty, everything seems to be working normally . I wish I could say the same thing for the Alfa Romeo, owned by my friends´s dad... Anyway, german cars are the best IMO, my dad´s Audi A6 hasn´t had a single problem in the 5 years he´s owned it and neither has the previous one. Now when I get out of college... Anyone thinking of selling a used 996TT in four years?

Crash, Where do you live? I am not sure if you are in the U.S. as I have not seen a Fiat on the road here in many years.

No, I´m not from the US, I´m actually European. Too bad, since I normally shell out around $3.50 per gallon. Yes, even my little 1.8 liter 4-banger is considered a gas guzzler back where I´m from
