The front 275s have to go though. that's just plain silly

I'll see what I can do after talking to Garret... Line-lock, slicks etc... I'll be a PorVette soon
You guys must have pretty weak domestics out there if none of them can touch your 1.62 short time. BTW, check out this import... 1.302 60ft, 6spd manual, and no nitrous.

The thing is if you go too far in the drag race direction you kind of defeat the purpose. You still want it to be primarily a road course killer that can still rip a 10 sec qtr mile pass. At least that is my intentions. If I wanted the fastest qtr mile car I wouldn't have started with a tt in the first place! Alex you with me or are you going for an all out drag racer?

I'm still surprised... I've seen heads&cam 6spd Vettes out here in NJ pull 1.4 and 1.5 60fts with slicks and skinnies. It's pretty amazing considering they only put down maybe 400-450RWHP!

Any ideas on how I can improve my 1.65 to 1.67 60fts in the Audi? I'm already running 4 drag radials...

I agree Buddy.. I like the fact, I can drive 300 miles to a drag strip.. run some mid-10s, and then stop off at Thunderhill and bust out some good lap times with Cary's ERP/JRZ suspension and my GTR brakes... well it's a jack of all trades. The car itself is VERY much set up for the road course.

Buddy, totally understood. But what happens in reality is, you go to the drag strip and the red mist descends.

You get your **** handed to you by some mouth breather in his pushrod V8 and you want revenge! And you want to show all of them that your Porsche (or late model, high tech, IRS weapon of choice) can take them!

Hehe, it's all good!

Maybe the fastest M Coupe, but I know there are quite a few E36 M3s deep into the 9's.

Interesting. I saw a guy at E-town in NJ, USA run a 12.2 in a basically stock E46 M3. It had gears, an intake, drag radials, and some minor weight reduction. Guy was definitely driving his *** off. I believe he said he pulled a low 1.6 60ft with it at Atco Raceway.
Yes Lee will be taking my car down the strip at least one or 2 times, im goign to make him LOL.. I have a stage 2+ (stage3) SC m3 with 400 lbs of weight reduction and its a 6speed, lots of tranny clutch work done, you name it i got it.. With slicks and good rviing i can expect mid 11's, not even witht he nitrous. The SMG SC M3's cant do well because with the SMG you cnanot control wheel spinning (Ex: feathering the clutch) so i have a major advantage on top of weight reduction and numerous other things, we'll see

Wrong again, the only E36 M3 into the 9s is Peter Hammarström with 9.479 @ 150.55 mph (Sweden). This cannot be fairly describe as a street car however.

The next fastest E36 M3 is Gene Liu's 10.623 @ 133.39 mph run in 1999. The car has since been retired.

Alex, yes I've got the fastest M Coupe in the world at the moment, and the second fastest BMW street car in the world. However there are some fast BMWs in the Scandanavian countries!

That thing launches like a freaking rocket! I love the shotgun shifts! Supra's are bad to the bone and can definately run some wicked times!
