Angry Help me!

Ok guys. A little but of back story: I've had my car for 5 months. I've got about 2k miles on it under my ownership. Sitting on 80k total. I have been using a supposed porsche specialty shop in my town. They service all my cars, and looking back at my bills over the last 3 months I have believe they are jacking with me.
Since my ownership I have had to replace the throw out bearing, shift cables, hitachi MAF, & throttle body. They also screwed up the brakes and they now squeal like a teething baby.
The car has had a perpetual CEL since I bought it. And I feel like they have been giving me the run around trying to sort it out. Now they are telling me I need a 2nd new MAF. That's 2 new MAF's in ~1000 miles. They also say it needs a boost controller. I'm completely pissed at this point and done with this shop entirely. But help me understand how my brand new MAF can be bad already.

The rest of the reason I believe they are screwing with me is that I have been going through an eerily similar situation with my S4 and the same shop. Constantly chasing problems, it's like we get one thing fixed and the cars work for about 2 days then the next thing breaks....

There must be other shops around your area that can help you out. Maybe some of the Florida guys will chime in.
What kind of air filter are you using?

I'm in Destin and running an EVOMS intake. Looking to possibly try Smith Motorworks in Panama City, it's slightly inconvenient but I can't keep throwing money away like I have been... The other option would be to try to find a shop in Jacksonville area as I will be over there next week for Amalia Island Concourse.

If its a hitachi maf you shouldn't need a new one .The Hitachi is not as suseptable to voltage spikes .What codes are you getting for the cel light?

dont let anyone look at the car that doesnt live, eat, and fix then on a daily basis and they better know the TTS inside out..

I would do a pressure test, scan for codes... what maf do you have?
put the stock airbox for kicks..
start swapping parts and seeing results...
then go after tune at end and see if you hve the right program for the maf...

Braver man than I... a highly modded car in unknown condition being sold with codes is a recipe for hemorrhaging cash.

Agree you need to find a good shop and all that, but you must recognize that mods (particularly if the documented history is murky or imprecise)have a way of making diagnosis difficult.

Not sure what the Evoms intake consists of anymore, but if you put your stock airbox back in and don't let anyone tell you anything different. You'll likely never need another MAF.

Steve, was it the AP box or the filter that caused you to have to replace the MAFs?

I know it's a hike but I'm sure Champion can assist you. It may be worth the drive to finally have some quality repairs and closure.
