in my experience, it's not the noise level that gets reduced dramatically, (maybe 15%) but it's the drone...which is what I experience with my fabspeed.

 

The UR guys use a small resonator maybe 6" in length. I tried to grab a pic, but don't have the time to hunt for one. There's about 18" of space between the turbo and bumper. There's enough room.

 

Would it throw a CEL? If so...what would it throw?

I think my old one was pretty close. I think most of the baffling was blown out, so it was probably close to straight pipes.


I have it laying around in my garage if you're interested!

 

So I actually found a set if straight pipes...

Can't decide if I like them or not. I have no tips on them so it looks dumb.

Easy enough to weld on some tips but I'm now debating on selling them.

I don't mind the loud, I like the turbo spool sound and I like flames. It's just sort of farty sounding.

So far, I've had an old fvd single mufflers with hollowed cats, techart hollowed cats, Remus cut out cats and now straight pipes.

 

On external wastegate I'm sure the car is super loud I used t run it on my evo ones the boost kick in hell rise
