Hey John,

I bought the front oem gt3 bar (new) a few weeks ago, I sent the message and realized that the gt3 rear bar won't fit my car so I'm on the lookout for the gt2 rear sway now.

Thanks,
Saadi

The 996 GT3 and GT2 are exactly the same bar, both front and rear. They fit the Turbo with no issues using adjustable drop links.

I thought about removing my rear OE bar, pinching it and drilling another hole maybe an inch or so behind the original. It would add a bit of rigidity and correct a bit of the under steer up front. Thoughts?

Interesting theory. Would be interested in hearing other thoughts on this.

Call Tarett. You have the correct and best bars for your car. You just didn't order the adaptor kit with it. See link.

The only way to install a 997 sway bar on a 996 is to use 997 sub frames. the spacing is wider on the 997. That link is for 997.2 gt3 bar to fit on a 997.2 c2
